Ed Sullivan Lookalike Impersonator

I’d like to talk to you about the concept of using my talents as an Ed Sullivan Lookalike impersonator, to host/mc your tribute shows. For the past 34 years, I’ve been a comic/impressionist. Quite a few of the impressions I do are look a like impressions. The one that might interest you the most would be my Ed Sullivan. I am the #1 Ed Sullivan for the Sullivan tribute show called  and I work with the “Beatleshow” at the Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, as well as the Beatle tribute bands,  to host and mc their shows because it not only adds humor to the show, but helps get the audience even more excited than they already are to see a great show. I just did my Ed Sullivan, as host and MC for the David Jones Memorial Convention show with Micky Dolenz, Peter Tork, Christian Nesmith and The Davy Jones and Monkees touring band, The 1910 Fruitgum Company, Ron Dante and many more fabulous acts. I do really make up to look like Sullivan. Last year we were doing the national auto convention in San Francisco and Jay Leno was also on the bill. Now I’ve known Jay for over 30 years and we had just visited with Jay in Atlantic City 6 weeks before. When Jay saw me as Sullivan, he didn’t even recognize me. We laughed about it afterwards.  At one point in the show, “Ed” does impressions like Jack Nicholson, Johnny Carson, Nixon and more. When Jay saw this he was hysterical. I recently hosted The Rock N Roll Reunion Concert at The State Theater in New Brunswick, NJ as Ed Sullivan Lookalike impersonator and on the show were such great acts as Lou Christie, Tommy Mara, The Vogues, Sonny Geraci, The Cookies, and Barbara Harris. Earlier this year, I also co hosted a doo wop concert with Cool Bobby B doing my Ed Sullivan Lookalike impersonator at The Count Basie Theater in Red Bank, NJ, with Jimmy Beaumont and The Skyliners, The Heartbeats, Johnny Tillotson, Cleveland Stills and The Dubs and Frankie Lymon’s Legendary Teenagers, and The Izod Center in East Rutherford, NJ with Jay Black, The Chiffons, Kenny Vance & The Planatones and more. You can ask any of the many wonderful acts that night about my Ed Sullivan and how much it added to an already fabulous show. Peter Noone of Herman’s Hermits and John Sebastian both like the idea of me possibly doing Ed Sullivan for their future shows. I also worked with Govt. Mule at The Beacon Theater in New York City a few years ago as Ed Sullivan. I was also opening up, as a comic, for Nate Evans and The Temptations for 3 ½ months in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Originally, they wanted me to just do Ed Sullivan Lookalike impersonator but I wound up doing my comedy act and ending by introducing the group while doing Ed Sullivan.
